These Terms of Use govern access to vallepark.com (the “Website”) and any enquiry, reservation, purchase or other interaction made through it. The Website and the services described on it are operated under the Vallé Advenature Park brand (“Vallé”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you make a booking for other participants, you are responsible for communicating all relevant booking and safety information to them.
We aim to keep the Website accurate and available. Descriptions, photographs, schedules, routes, durations, prices and availability may, however, change because of weather, maintenance, safety requirements, operational constraints or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Website content is provided for general information and does not replace the instructions of Vallé staff or the
specific conditions displayed for an activity or booking.
Activities may be subject to age, height, weight, health, fitness, capacity, clothing, footwear, driving licence or other participation requirements. The applicable requirements will be those communicated on the Website, during booking, at check-in or by Vallé staff. Participants must provide accurate information, disclose relevant limitations when requested, follow all safety briefings and instructions, and use the equipment provided as directed.
Vallé may refuse, suspend or stop participation where a participant does not meet an applicable requirement, appears unfit to participate, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves dangerously or fails to follow instructions. Children must be accompanied and supervised as required for the relevant activity. A parent or legal guardian must provide any consent required for a minor.
A booking is confirmed only when Vallé issues a confirmation or booking reference and, where applicable, receives successful payment. You are responsible for checking the selected date, time, activity, participant category and contact details before completing a booking and for reviewing the confirmation promptly after receipt.
Bookings are subject to availability. A product remaining visible on the Website does not guarantee that a particular time slot or activity is available. Where information supplied for a resident rate, age category or participant requirement is inaccurate, Vallé may require the applicable price difference to be paid or may refuse participation.
Prices are stated in Mauritian Rupees unless indicated otherwise and include VAT where the Website or relevant price list states that VAT is included. Prices may be revised before a booking is confirmed. Payment may be handled by a third-party payment service provider, whose separate terms and privacy notice may also apply.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific offer or required by applicable law, confirmed activities and packages are non-refundable. Requests to change a booking remain subject to availability and Vallé’s written approval. A change of mind, late arrival, failure to attend, failure to present required proof or failure to meet a published participation requirement does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
Vallé may delay, modify, substitute, reschedule or cancel an activity where reasonably necessary for safety, weather, maintenance, staffing, operational or force majeure reasons. Where Vallé cancels an activity and no suitable alternative can be provided, Vallé will offer an appropriate remedy in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law. Any package-specific booking conditions displayed at checkout or stated in the confirmation form part of these Terms and prevail for that booking if they conflict with a general provision here.
Visitors should arrive at the time stated in their confirmation and allow sufficient time for admission, verification and safety preparation. Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings and must respect the park, its wildlife, natural features, facilities, staff and other guests. Smoking, food, photography, drones, pets and restricted-item rules must be followed where posted or communicated by Vallé.
Adventure and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including changing weather, uneven terrain, heights, speed, physical exertion and interaction with natural environments. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Participants remain responsible for acting prudently, assessing their ability to participate and following all instructions and warnings.
The Website and its text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, trade marks, layout and other content are owned by or licensed to Vallé and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view the Website and retain a copy of a booking confirmation for personal use. No other reproduction, adaptation, distribution, commercial use or removal of rights notices is permitted without prior written authorisation.
You must not misuse the Website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, scrape content at scale, submit false or unlawful material, impersonate another person or use the Website in a way that infringes the rights of Vallé or any third party.
The Website may contain links, embeds or services supplied by third parties, including maps, social media platforms, payment providers, analytics services and reCAPTCHA. Vallé does not control third party websites or services and is not responsible for their availability, content or independent practices. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vallé is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising solely from Website use, third-party services or events outside Vallé’s reasonable control. Vallé’s responsibility for a confirmed booking remains subject to applicable law, the specific booking conditions and any remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Personal data collected through the Website or in connection with a booking is handled in accordance with Vallé’s Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, Website functions or operational practices. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published. The Terms applicable to a confirmed booking are those accepted at the time of booking, together with any specific conditions included in the confirmation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. The courts of Mauritius will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or dispute process that applies. Customers are encouraged to contact Vallé first so that concerns can be reviewed promptly.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to sales@vallepark.com, by telephone on +230 660 44 77, or by post or in person at 102, Mare Anguilles, Chamouny, Mauritius.
